Creative Writing 2 is an informal group that writes for pleasure. We want to express our thoughts, memories and imagination as effectively as we can.
We submit our writing each month for sharing with the group, meet up to discuss and read extracts over a cuppa and give positive comments (Stars) and suggestions (EBI - even better if...) to the authors.
We aim to improve the depth and range of our writing, in different genres, over time – at a pace that feels comfortable.
When the piece we have created is under 500 words, we will read our work aloud (time permitting). We may start our sessions with a short writing exercise (10 minutes maximum).
Tea, coffee and bickies provided. We generally contribute 50p to the host.
