The poetry group meets once a month at one of our members' houses. We take it in turns to read poems that we have enjoyed. Sometimes this stimulates a lively discussion. Poets we have read include Seamus Heaney, Roger McGough, Carol Ann Duffy, Simon Armitage, Robert Frost, John Cooper Clark as well as many others. The group currently consists of 9 members. The group has proved so popular we have had to start a second poetry group.
